Judith is a Licensed Professional Counselor who completed her graduate work at Hofstra University in New York before relocating to Pennsylvania in 2002. She has worked in a variety of settings including nonprofit agencies, secondary schools and hospitals. She works with individuals and couples in response to a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, relationship concerns, trauma and grief. Perinatal and postpartum mood disorders are an area of particular interest and she has completed post graduate professional training through Postpartum Support International. Judith works with clients using mindfulness based cognitive-behavioral strategies and is also trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy as well as EMDR. She encourages clients to access multiple social, spiritual and cultural resources that are present in their lives as a means of building emotional resiliency. She has served on the Carlisle Area Health and Wellness Task Force’s Committee on Post-Partum Depression as well as volunteering time to the Post-Partum Support Group at the Women’s Center at UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle.
