Rachel is a Licensed Professional Counselor who completed her graduate work at Shippensburg University. She has experience working in community mental health, including outpatient mental health treatment, a partial hospitalization program and as part of a substance use disorder treatment program. Rachel works with adults and adolescents experiencing a range of concerns, including depression and other mood disorders, anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder, PTSD, eating disorders, substance abuse/addiction, grief and loss and self-esteem issues.
Rachel values a collaborative approach to therapy and prioritizes learning and understanding the client’s experience as key to figuring out insights and solutions together. Rachel integrates cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment therapy and somatic/mind-body techniques into her therapeutic approach. Rachel is a member of the American Counseling Association and is a Nationally Certified Counselor.
