Meet
Lisa has over 25 years of varied experience in the mental health field treating individuals of all ages. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in Social Work and from Syracuse University with a Master of Social Work. Lisa worked with children, adolescents and their families in many different capacities during the first 15 years of her career. Since working in outpatient therapy, Lisa has broadened her interests to work with adults of all ages, in addition to her work with young people.
Lisa utilizes a client-centered, strength-based approach in her work with clients. Clinical interests include depression, anxiety, OCD, self-harm, ADHD, parenting challenges and grief/loss issues. She utilizes a variety of approaches in her work with clients, including, cognitive-behavioral therapy, traditional insight-oriented therapy, breath work, relaxation and mindfulness techniques and behavioral therapy.
Lisa believes in providing clients with a non-judgmental place to share the struggles in their lives and to feel understood.
